Crushing Sales Figures Don't Signal 'Game Over' for Industry

The video game industry has been taking a pounding in recent months, despite having seemed invincible during the early part of the recession. Had a turnaround occurred sooner, it might have emerged unscathed. Still, there's cause for optimism. New games and attractive console deals are expected in the second half of 2009, and the holiday season is always a golden time for gaming.
