Not just the best Bose...

There are many makers of noise-canceling headphones, but rightly or wrongly Bose has long been considered the gold standard with it's QuietComfort2. Not to accuse Bose of resting on its laurels, but the QC2 has been on the market since 2003. Finally, Bose has updated its over-the-ear cans (the QC3 is a smaller on-the-ear model) and the company is so proud of the result that it skipped naming them the QC4 or 5 or 6 and jumped all the way to QC15. We're not sure if such a leap in naming is warranted, but CNET's David Carnoy says the sound and isolation is noticeably improved.
