Albert Gonzalez, charged earlier this month in separate data breach, agreed to plead guilty to 2008 charges of hacking into TJ Maxx and other retailers and stealing data.

Trend Micro released its 2010 security products earlier this week, with three programs offering varying levels of security and service.

Security firm Trend Micro warns of Web sites that purport to offer free copies of the forthcoming new Mac OS but instead deliver malware.

This time the social network is responding to advocacy groups' and policymakers' concerns about the amount of user data exposed to third-party developers.
Security researchers say Apple's new Mac OS X security enhancements could give Mac users something to really brag about.
