Symantec has come out with a list of the "Dirtiest Web Sites of Summer 2009," which, on average, has 18,000 malware threats per site.

A group of malicious Facebook apps is stealing log-in credentials and spamming friends, Trend Micro says.

The group, which is part of the IEEE and includes several security heavyweights, hopes that formalizing information sharing can help combat attacks.
