Review: Oppo BDP-83 Blu-ray player

After a long beta-testing period, the Oppo BDP-83 is finally here and it lives up to the hype. The outstanding universal disc player offers excellent performance on Blu-rays and DVDs and lightning-fast operational speed. Sure, it's on the pricier side and it lacks Wi-Fi and streaming services like Netflix, but if you're looking for one of the better standalone disc players, you can't go wrong with this one.

  1. The Oppo BDP-83 is an universal player, looks quite decent. It has nice features but could have been more better. The video quality is excellent. It lacks the wi-fi feature and is quite expensive. For people who concentrate only on video quality, this device is the best. For more details refer oppo dbp-83 reviews

  2. No streaming abilities such as netfilx which would be nice to have in the same box..
