Made primarily for business travelers, the BlackBerry Tour 9630 has the best of both worlds; it works with Verizon while in the U.S. and it has a SIM card that can be used for 3G roaming when abroad. It also has a nice 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and GPS. The Tour is certainly one of Verizon's top smartphones for world travelers.

I went with the Bold after looking at the Storm. Some big factors that carried the Bold over the Storm for me:

- The Bold supports Wi-Fi and can automatically connect to my home and coffee-shop hot spots. Nice when handling lots of data.
- Bold's dedicated keyboard allows me to use shortcuts; one button away from 20+ applications. Once you get used to these shortcuts your productivity will soar.  Read more
