The Chinese government's effort to keep pornography and other undesirable material out of the country's corner of the Internet is chafing hardware vendors and online companies in the U.S. and elsewhere. Many companies don't want to appear supportive of censorship, but China's huge manufacturing and customer bases make it difficult to ignore the demands of its government.
